Data Archiving

Tikting Helpdesk and Change Management System can be configured so you archive old requests.

Data Archiving speeds up the search and time it takes to load or reload the page and response times.

Rules and Exception rules can be configured to include or skip specific tickets and it can be schedule to run at a specific intervals.

Configure Data Archiving

Data archiving can be accessed from Configuration > Data Archiving

Please select the check Enable Data Archiving for the system to perform Data Archiving.

To add a rule select “Request Status is” field and drop down options will show which request should be archived.

  1. Choose whether the date should be the action date (close date) or created date.

  2. Choose how long you want before you want tickets to be archived in the next field.

  3. Choose if you want to configure archiving any change management.

  4. Choose the time on which you want to enable Scheduled Data Archiving.
