User Roles
To maintain security and operational efficiency, TIKTING provides Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). This allows administrators to assign predefined roles to users, which determine the actions they can perform and the areas they can access.
Each technician have a set of permissions to execute specific tasks in the helpdesk.
Role Group
A Role Group is a collection of permissions that define what a user can see and do within the system.
Instead of assigning individual permissions to each user, role groups simplify access management by bundling related rules into a single group. For example, a “Technician” role group might include permissions to view assigned tickets, update statuses, and add notes. This approach ensures consistency and security across user roles.
