Asset Categories

In addition to categories used for managing Requests, Incidents, Problems, and Changes, Asset Management includes a separate set of categories tailored specifically for assets.

Separating asset categories ensures clearer organization, improves reporting accuracy, and allows for more precise control over asset lifecycle management.

Assets can be organized into a three-level hierarchy: Category > Subcategory > Item, enabling structured classification and easier asset tracking and reporting.
